Happy Halloween

What a great day!! We had so much fun! The day started for me with a half marathon that I ran with my friend Catey. It was a blast! I met my goal time and the course was beautiful! After I got home we all got into costume and headed out for a day of trick or treating. Ellie a very pretty pink princess and Tanner choose to have two costumes. She started out as Sleeping Beauty and then switched to her Hamm the pig costume. We took Aaron cookies at work. (Poor guy had to close) and then met up with the cousins to trick or treat. First in Lehi then in Eagle Mountain. Dinner was spaghetti in pumpkin shaped bread bowls and of course candy. They girls fell asleep as soon as their heads hit their pillows, Aaron is home and we are now enjoying the Yankees game. So much fun! A special thanks to Michelle and Andy for their help with the girls during the half marathon!! Happy Halloween!!!

Costume parade

Friday started our Halloween weekend with Ellie's pre-k costume parade. It was so much fun! The kids were so cut in all of their costumes. We had to make sure and get a picture of Ellie and current boyfriend Jarron. He is the little "space man"

pumpkin time

For Family night tonight we finally carved-painted our pumpkins. We let the girls each pick out the pumpkin they wanted. Those of you who know Ellie well know that she has a love for "cute little things" which explains the pumpkin she painted tonight. Tanner at first wanted the biggest pumpkin but then fell in love with this little pie pumpkin. The girls had a blast painting their pumpkins while Aaron happily took a knife to ours. I of course added the accessories making it a total team effort. What a great night!!! Once again keep scrolling down to see all of the pics from tonight!!

Halloween

We are so excited for Halloween!!! Saturday was a rainy day so the girls and I hit the kitchen for a little Halloween baking. Ellie kept sneaking the Reece's pieces and Tanner kept sneaking frosting. Some how despite the sneaky snacking we were able to finish the cake and have it look like we wanted. So much fun!!! We can not wait for this weekend!! Keep scrolling to see the whole process.

Pixie and Pirates

Saturday Ellie and Tanner met their cousins at Thanksgiving Point for the Pixie and Pirate Activity. Guess which child was a pixie and which one wanted to be a pirate? They had a blast!! They made Indian hats, went to a pirate house, on a treasure hunt(to bad the pirate thieves a head of us stole all the treasure. I hate when people don't follow the rules)and on a bear hunt. Oh and I can't forget the face painting. Ellie's favorite part was getting a huge heart on her face and Tanner rocked at shooting a bear! Thank goodness for Thanksgiving Point!!!
